THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE BUILDS
MADE BY POSHYPOP
Real match builds to see what players buy. Long-form interviews to hear how they think. That’s BUILDLOCK.
BUILDLOCK PRO
Explore real purchase orders from pro matches, with the player, match and item timings attached.
They are reconstructed from item purchases in actual matches. Each build names the player and match, and tournament builds include their event source. A match build shows what was played; it is not a promise that the same items suit every game.
Builds are reviewed before they are listed. Every playable hero has a place in the library, and its builds appear as they are approved.
One selected build each week, including its item order and timings. All BUILDLOCK interviews are also free. The rest of the approved build library requires PRO access.
When a build has been published and verified in Deadlock, its page shows an in-game build ID. Published builds are authored by the BUILDLOCK account and credit the player whose match they came from.

Every build here is one POSHYPOP actually recommends - an ex-pro Deadlock player and coach - with the item order, ability order, and the reasoning behind each pick. Choose a hero to see the build and why it works.
Everyone recalibrated when Ranked launched on July 30, 2026, capped at Oracle VI out of placements - every rank above that has been earned match by match since. The race below tracks the highest-ranked players in each region live. Beta Season 1 runs through October 8, 2026, and your peak rank is saved to your rank history when it ends.
Ranked Mode needs at least 60 wins in Standard Mode, at least 15 wins on each hero you want to queue with, and at least 3 Ranked-eligible heroes on your roster.
Everyone starts the season with 8 calibration matches and a soft reset of their previous rank. Calibration is solo only, and the highest rank you can place out of it is Oracle VI.
Wins and losses move you about 250 points on average. Each subrank takes 1,000 points, and the final subrank before a new rank takes 2,000. Eternus placement uses daily percentile thresholds instead of fixed points.
You get 5 protected games after reaching a new rank and 2 after a new subrank. Ranked currently allows solo or duo queue only; duo partners must be within 1 rank of each other, or within 3 subranks at Eternus. Track your own climb on your player page.
